How we install the new Sod.
  • Remove existing weeds or grasses
  • Check/mark sprinkler heads with flags
  • Rototill area to loosen ground
  • Begin grading and leveling
  • Topsoil mix should be added if needed to level area or to fill in low spots



  • Apply granulated insecticide
  • Begin laying sod the correct way 
  • Make cuttings and adjustments to fit sod
  • Roll sod area with a lawn roller filled with water if need it
  • Loading and hauling of yard waste materials

Palmetto St. Augustine Grass

​Palmetto St. Augustine demonstrates superior shade, cold, frost, heat, and drought tolerance, and it thrives in irrigated areas with good drainage. Selected for better color and finer texture, is also highly tolerant of soil salinity salty soils in comparison to zoysia or bermudagrass. It can grow in a wide range of soil types. Raleigh St. Augustine Grass

Raleigh St. Augustine grass is coarse-textured with a very thick grass blade that rounds at the top and becomes more compacted towards the soil. Common Bermuda Grass

​Common bermudagrass produces a vigorous, light to dark green, dense turf that is well adapted to most soils and climatic temperatures. Bermudagrass has excellent wear, drought and salt tolerance and is a good choice for residential property. It establishes rapidly and is competitive against weeds. Bermudagrasses have very poor shade tolerance and should not be grown underneath trees or shade areas. During periods of rapid growth, or under an intensive management program, a minimum of twice weekly mowing may be necessary to prevent scalping.

Celebration Bermuda Grass

Celebration bermudagrass is a deep blue-green turf grass that has the best wear tolerance and recovery, drought resistance and tolerance, bermudagrass has low shade tolerance. Celebration Bermuda grass performs well across a variety of applications. Celebration is currently being used in numerous applications: homes, professional golf and sports venues. This resilient Bermuda grass grows in many soil and climatic conditions, and, although it thrives in hot, humid environments, it is also relatively hardy in colder conditions. Celebration requires less mowing than typical Bermuda varieties and has tough runners, and deep roots that provide excellent sod strength, wearability, and improved drought tolerance.

Tiff 419 Bermuda Grass

Tifway 419 Bermuda has been at the top of the list when it comes to sports turf. It grows quickly and densely, allowing it to bounce back quickly from wear and tear. Tifway 419 Bermuda’s durability extends to its close mowing tolerance and disease resistance. This type of grass is a great option for high traffic. For a tough, durable lawn, look no further than Tifway 419 Bermuda. Is a top choice for sports and recreational turf for a reason: it grows quickly and densely, making recovery after wear and tear fast. Additionally, Tifway 419 Bermuda is disease resistant and can withstand low mowing. For these reasons, Tifway 419 Bermuda is the perfect choice for the greens on the course and the greens on your home lawn.

Palisade Zoysia Grass

Palisades Zoysia is a medium to coarse textured turf noted for its shade tolerance and low water use requirements. Tolerance to low mowing, good-excellent shade tolerance, and low water use requirement. It stands up to foot traffic and takes less water than many other turf varieties. Suitable for any yard, whether full sun or shade, Palisades has proven itself to be an excellent choice for low-maintenance landscape, is suitable from full sun to partial shade. With its low light requirements, Palisades has also proven itself useful when addressing shady areas in the landscape.

Emerald Zoysia Grass

Emerald zoysia is a fine-textured hybrid zoysia that is one of the most attractive of the zoysia grasses. It is well-suited for quality lawns where regular maintenance and care is provided. Emerald zoysia dark green with fine leaf texture, high shoot density and a low growth habit, is less hardy but more shade tolerant. Handling as little as 4 – 5 hours of sun. Only use Emerald Zoysia for top quality lawns where good maintenance practices will take place.​

Cavalier Zoysia Grass

Cavalier Zoysia is a fine textured, dark green in color, high-density turf that is used on residential and commercial sites. Shade tolerant, drought tolerant, slow growing and easy to maintain. Cavalier differs from other zoysia varieties because of its very fine, long, narrow leaf blades. Like Palisades, Cavalier requires less water and fertilizer while having comparable shade tolerance and producing a thicker turf than St. Augustine.

Zorro Zoysia Grass

Zorro Zoysia has a beautiful dark green color. The leaf texture is considered to be very fine bladed and very soft to feel. It is perfect for beautiful home lawns. It thrives in full sun or partial shade and only requires 3-4 hours of sunlight to thrive. Zorro Zoysia has a rapid recovery regrowth rate from damage and good drought tolerance and can be mowed very low and frequently. Zorro also has one of the lowest water requirements of the zoysias. It greens up earlier in the spring and stays green later into the fall than other zoysias.

Crown Zoysia Grass

Crown zoysia grass are adapted to a variety of soils and have good tolerance to shade, salt, and traffic. Crowne is noted for its drought tolerance, low water use, rapid recuperative ability and excellent competition against weed invasion.

Zeon Zoysia Grass

Zeon zoysia grass is an aggressive, dark green, coarse textured lawn grass. Is a superior fine bladed zoysia, with increased shade tolerance and can be mowed very low and frequently. Zeon is fairly low maintenance and can be mowed using a standard rotary lawn mower. Zeon Zoysia is the one of the most shade tolerant warm season grasses available in Houston. Handling as little as 4 hours of sun, Zeon has been a suitable replacement for many home lawns in Houston area.
