One of the most common drainage solutions that we offer is the surface drain. A surface drain is a drainage system that helps to shuttle water away from your home. By using drainage pipes that are laid in a trench that are connected to gutter downspouts and drain boxes in specific locations of the property, water runs into the pipes and is then diverted to a safer location. This allows to prevent issues of flooding, pooling water and erosion all at once while still allowing your plants, grasses, trees and shrubs to benefit from frequent rainfall.

French Drain solution: EZ Flow System a subsurface drainage alternative to a traditional gravel pipe drainage system. This French drain system is ideal for retaining walls, foundation and footing perimeter drains, and landscape drains. It disperses water over a large area through a buried, perforated pipe. Gravel is not required for the EZ-flow system.

Surface Drain: common drainage solution that collects water from landscaping, lawn and roof gutters, downspout pipes. Strategically installed to yard drain pipes and catch basins and evacuates the water through a solid PVC pipe. Water then runs underground to discharge into a lower area, preferably the driveway or street. Where a lower elevation is not possible a sump pump can be used to push the water to the discharge point.

Surface Channel Drain: One of the best solutions to keep your driveway, garage or walkway free from standing water is installing channel drain. Water build up due to insufficient drainage can cause significant damage to basements, garages and building foundations. Proper water drainage for your property is one of the most important long-term preventative measures you can implement. The main goal is to ensure that water is carried away from your garage and home to an area that can properly handle the excess water.

Sump Pump How it works: Sump pumps contain a sump basin which collects water around the foundation or in the basement of a home. Using electricity it then sends the water away from lawn or foundation by pumping it into a dry well or roadside area. This type of pump can be completely submerged in water, the pump is sealed to prevent short circuits. Sump pumps are specially designed for a flat yard, where issues with standing water or flooding are present. If your foundation or yard sits below the water level, you’ll want to consider some form of drainage. A sump pump is an excellent solution.
