Installing turf directly over unstable soil does not correct settlement, trapped water or poor transitions. Construction begins with removal and excavation. The subgrade is evaluated, drainage is addressed, aggregate is placed and compacted, and the finished contours are established before the turf is cut and secured.

Pet turf is not maintenance-free. Waste still needs prompt removal, and the surface requires rinsing, debris removal and appropriate cleaning. Construction should make that care practical. Water must move through or away from the surface, seams and edges must remain secure, and the installed area should be accessible for routine cleaning.

Before choosing the surface
Does artificial turf eliminate all maintenance?
No. Turf does not require mowing or watering for growth, but it still needs debris removal, brushing, cleaning and periodic attention to infill and high-use areas.
Can artificial turf solve a muddy yard?
It can create a cleaner finished surface when the source of water, drainage route, subgrade and base are addressed. Covering an unresolved wet area with turf is not an adequate drainage solution.
Is artificial turf appropriate for children and pets?
Turf products and construction details should be selected for the intended use. Play areas may require different performance characteristics than pet zones, decorative lawns or pool surroundings.
Can turf be installed between square pavers?
Yes. The pavers, joint dimensions, turf strips, base and edge details should be planned together so the elevations and geometry remain consistent.
Does artificial turf become hot in direct sun?
Synthetic surfaces can become hot in direct sunlight. Shade, exposure, turf selection and how the area will be used should be considered before installation.
How is the project price determined?
