Overgrown foundation planting
Shrubs can obstruct windows, crowd walks and conceal the architecture they were intended to support.
Replace disconnected repairs with one organized entry landscape.
A thinning lawn, crowded shrubs, deteriorated edging and irrigation that no longer matches the planting can make the front of the home difficult to manage and disappointing to arrive at. PLS Landscaping rebuilds front yards in Atascocita through coordinated removal, garden-bed construction, structural borders, soil preparation, planting, irrigation adjustments and sod installation. We review sunlight, roof runoff, walkways, driveway edges, existing trees and finished elevations before materials are selected. The result is planned around how the family reaches the home, how children move between the driveway and entry and how every installed area will receive water.

Replacing a few shrubs will not correct poor bed depth, broken borders, incompatible irrigation or grass installed where light is inadequate. The entire entry should be evaluated as one connected space.
Shrubs can obstruct windows, crowd walks and conceal the architecture they were intended to support.
Loose stones, shallow edging and uneven elevations allow soil and mulch to migrate into the lawn.
Shade, roots, compaction and irrigation competition can leave exposed soil around mature tree canopies.
Lawn, shrubs and seasonal planting can receive too much or too little water when the irrigation layout no longer fits the landscape.
Coordinated landscape construction
The project may use one service or combine all six. Demolition, borders, soil, irrigation, plants and sod are sequenced so completed work is not unnecessarily disturbed.
Remove approved plants, roots, failed edging and surface material while protecting elements that remain.
Establish usable bed depth, limits and elevations around foundations, trees, entries and walks.
Install defined edges that retain bed material and create deliberate transitions against lawn and hardscape.
Relocate applicable heads, add drip irrigation or modify coverage to match new lawn and planting zones.
Select and install trees, shrubs, perennials and accent plants around mature size, sunlight and site use.
Prepare disturbed lawn areas, correct finish grade where applicable and install selected sod at compatible elevations.
Beds, borders and lawn must meet correctly
A border should retain bed soil and surface material without creating a dam that traps runoff against the home or across the lawn. Sod should meet walks and driveways cleanly, while bed surfaces maintain appropriate clearance from vulnerable wall and siding conditions. These transitions are established before final planting so the visible design and water path support each other.
PLS project work
These photographs show complete lawn and bed reconstruction, a planted entry with paver access, a modern border renovation and coordinated grading with sod and garden edges.

Renovation sequence
Opening the site once and following the correct order protects plants, sod and finish materials from avoidable demolition.
Review sunlight, roots, runoff, existing plants, irrigation, access and the desired entry experience.
Remove approved materials, establish bed limits and correct applicable surface elevations.
Construct borders and complete irrigation changes while the soil remains open.
Prepare beds, set plants at appropriate spacing and complete selected mulch or decorative stone.
Install applicable sod, test irrigation, clean transitions and review initial plant and lawn care.
A more welcoming daily arrival
A coordinated renovation can make the walk to the home cleaner, reduce overgrown areas beside windows and give the family an entry that feels organized every day. Children have a more defined route from the driveway, guests can approach without crossing loose soil and the lawn, beds and trees begin to read as one property instead of disconnected repairs.

Before installation begins
Healthy plants may be retained or relocated when their size, condition, root system and seasonal timing make that practical. The decision is made onsite rather than assumed.
Options can include natural stone, manufactured block, masonry or other structural edging. Material, footing, height, curves and surrounding grade affect the construction method.
Applicable heads, drip lines, valves and visible coverage concerns can be included in the scope. Lawn and planting zones should receive water appropriate to their separate needs.
It depends on the amount and duration of sunlight, root competition, irrigation and grass selection. Where light is insufficient, expanding a bed or using another surface may be more dependable than repeated sod replacement.
Localized grading, downspout connections, catch basins or solid drainage pipe may be incorporated when the property has a workable collection and discharge route. Larger drainage conditions may require a separate scope.
