Does artificial turf drain after heavy rain?
Turf systems can drain through the backing and prepared aggregate, but actual performance also depends on subgrade, surface slope, surrounding elevations and whether additional drainage is needed for the property.
Is artificial turf suitable for children and pets?
It can be, when the product and complete system are selected for the intended use. Pet areas require appropriate drainage, infill where applicable and regular cleaning. Optional padding may be considered for certain play applications.
Can pavers and turf be installed together?
Yes. Their base systems, finish elevations, turf seams and edge conditions must be coordinated so the materials meet cleanly and remain stable.
Does artificial turf become hot?
Yes. Synthetic surfaces can become hot in direct sun. Shade, turf selection, infill and temporary cooling with water can affect surface temperature, but homeowners should understand this characteristic before choosing turf.
Will weeds grow through artificial turf?
